Launched in January of 2004 as a quarterly publication, Digital TV focuses on the products and technologies that are driving the consumer electronics market into the digital era.
The magazine offers the latest news, updates and product reviews on flat screen and digital TV technologies as well as the new digital television and high definition television (HDTV) broadcast format. This includes (but isn’t limited to) flat-screen technology such as plasma and liquid crystal display (LCD) TVs, LCD and digital light processing (DLP) rear and front projection TV systems, and related sleek speaker and 5.1 digital audio system designs. In addition, Digital TV explores promising new video technologies, such as LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) and OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode). The new publication will also cover the increasing number of digital TV programs offerings, the convergence of computers and video games into the high definition video market, as well as other aspects of the digital TV revolution.
Digital TV is currently distributed on most major newsstands nationwide and is also available through a subscription service. The magazine is written in easy to read and entertaining manner that is aimed at anyone, from newcomers to long-time enthusiasts looking to buy a new TV.
Establishment of Digital TV follows CurtCo Media’s launch in 2002 of Robb Report Home Entertainment & Design, a luxury lifestyle publication dedicated to the world’s most exceptional home theaters, home automation systems, architecture and interior design.
