For some time now, HD enthusiasts have been clamouring
to see Discovery Channel's highest rated series, AMERICAN CHOPPER, in high def.
That time has come. Beginning this July, 20 episodes of the new season will air
on Discovery HD Theater. Episodes will be scheduled on Wednesday evenings at 10
pm (ET) with new episodes weekly through November.
AMERICAN CHOPPER will
take on a whole new life in HD. The Teutul family's work ethic, the masterful
machines they create, as well as their occasional passionate eruptions will
surely be even more wonderful and entertaining (if that's possible) in the
clarity of HDTV.
The hit series follows the Teutul family and their
struggles to maintain their flourishing custom motorcycle shop, as well as their
family relationships. The contrasting work styles of founder Paul Teutul,
Sr., and chief designer Paul Teutul, Jr. create numerous interesting
"conversations" between father and son. The show provides an interesting
balance between top notch craftsmanship of custom made choppers and entertaining
exchanges.
