HDTV Synopsis Outline

These networks have (or soon will have) dedicated digital channels that are generally on all day, every day and broadcast a variety of HDTV content throughout the day, including regularly scheduled shows, movies and special events. Broadcast networks are shown in red and are available over-the-air and from cable in numerous markets around the country. CBS HD is available from Dish Network and DirecTV. Our HDTV Broadcast Networks Programming Grid will indicate what regularly scheduled programs are available from these channels.

The satellite and cable networks are listed in blue. Some of these channels have regularly scheduled programs that are listed in our HDTV Satellite and Cable Programming Grid. Others transmit HDTV shows at changing times throughout the day. Networks listed in green don’t actually have their own HD channels but produce HDTV content that is shown on other channels.
