Color Temperature vs. IRE We measured the Runco CL-710, as shown in the Color Temperature vs. IRE chart, in its most accurate setting with high-definition test patterns. The blue line indicates our measurements without adjustments. It reads about 6200 Kelvin with dark gray images and drifts upward to 7200 Kelvin as you reach a peak white image. This is a difference of 1000 Kelvin. After calibration by a qualified service technician, the projector’s image (shown on the chart in red) measured around 6700 Kelvin with dark gray images and 7100 Kelvin with peak white images, but was near 6500 Kelvin across most of the middle of the range. Total variance was about 600 Kelvin. This is acceptable performance. » See chart CIE Diagram » See chart
