StarTech introduced the Cable Zen line of products at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show to help make connecting audio and video systems easier. Cable Zen cables and packaging are color-coded for various applications and include cable ties and an on-wire labeling system that will tell users which cables connect to which device. Available since August, the Cable Zen line includes all the necessary types of analog and digital audio and video cables.
