There’s a limit to how far you can transmit digital HDTV signals. Better quality cables, such as Ultralink’s HDMI Pro, can send digital video signals as far as 66 feet. Use the company’s HDMI repeater, however, and you can send DVI or HDMI signals—up to the highest high-definition signal possible, 1080p/60—as far as 100 feet. Connected inline with the HD signal, the repeater draws power from the source device, and doesn’t need an additional power cord or power supply. The repeater is available now for $249.
