Vantage Point Revolutionizes Flat-Panel Mounting
By Vantage Point PR
06/01/2004

SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA—Vantage Point has revolutionized the A/V support category by unveiling the most innovative Flat-Panel mounting system available- the UFO. The Universal Flat-Panel One mount is unsurpassed when it comes to ease of use, from specifying to wiring, the entire process is simplified by just one Flat-Panel mount.

Years of feedback and technical data from manufactures, installers and retailers have helped Vantage Point to develop a Flat-Panel mount, which fulfills installer’s needs and simplifies the buyer’s choices.  The UFO is the newest addition to Vantage Point’s Cinemagear line of products designed to support the art of creating home theater.

The UFO has been designed to make installation of flat panel TV’s and monitors a one person job. The lightweight aluminum rail is mounted to the wall, the brackets are mounted to the back of the monitor then the monitor simply hooks onto the horizontal rail.  There is no need to pre-connect any wires since the monitor can be safely tilted downward to complete the wiring process at any time.  The patent pending UFO offers the greatest adjustable forward tilt range available on the market while maintaining a close proximity to the wall -less than 3”!  This allows for easy access to the back of the flat panel during installation, making wiring a breeze.

The UFO’s unique design of the wall brackets adjust for various wall-stud spacing while the mount offers lateral positioning of both the rail and monitor making it easy to obtain perfect alignment in the most challenging installations. The refined engineering of the UFO creates a slim 2 3/8” gap between the wall and the back of the monitor.  Many mounts offering little or no tilt space the monitor even further from the wall. The UFO will attach to monitors with hole-patterns ranging from VESA 200mm, typical of larger LCD TVs, to varying hole patterns found on larger 50” plasma displays.
