UPPER SADDLE RIVER, NJ—Integra has
introduced the new DPC-7.5 six-disc DVD changer, featuring Integra's exclusive
Direct Progressive technology, a broad array of custom installation
capabilities, and true multi-disc random playback, even with MP3 and WMA-encoded
discs. The player features superior audio and video performance, and an
ultra-quiet six-disc carousel tray with a unique blue illumination light for
easier disc recognition in low-light situations. Like all Integra
products, the DPC-7.5 was designed with the needs of custom installers in mind,
and includes features like rear-panel bidirectional RS-232 port and IR in/out
jacks for seamless integration with home theater equipment and whole-home
control systems.
The DPC-7.5 features high quality 54 MHz/10-bit
video processing, and Integra's Direct Progressive capability enables the player
to extract 480p native encoded DVD material, which is then passed directly to
the component outputs without degradation due to unnecessary video processing.
In addition to both RCA and professional grade BNC progressive component video
outputs, there are two rear-panel S-Video and two composite video jacks. All
video outputs are always active, allowing simultaneous use of more than one
display device. For audio reproduction, the DPC-7.5 features 192
kHz/24-bit linear PCM Burr-Brown audio DACs coupled with the company's exclusive
Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC) for smoother and more linear analog audio
output. It is compatible with both MP3 and WMA encoded CD-R/RWs, with ID3 tag
display. The unit is also compatible with DVD±R/RW, CD, VCD, CD-R/RW, and JPEG
image CDs. Integra's Direct Digital Path provides a streamlined path to the
coaxial digital output jack for maximum audio fidelity.
The Integra
DPC-7.5 is now available with a suggested retail price of $350. Integra
designs and manufactures premium Home Theater receivers, processors, amplifiers,
and DVD players that are specifically designed to meet the needs of custom
