Response time is a critical element for LCD monitors and needs to be
less than 17ms to enjoy smoother transitions without still-image retention
or delays in motion. For
example, a 16ms LCD is equivalent to 63 images per second versus a 25ms LCD that equals 40 images per
second.
"The BenQ FP231W packs a lot of features into an even bigger LCD
monitor," said Thomas Han, vice president of Display at BenQ America. "We wanted
to make sure that-with BenQ's new large-screen LCD-consumers get the most
from their monitor, whether using it at home or in the office. Considering everything that comes standard with the FP231W, all the video inputs, a
16:9 aspect ratio and amazing resolution, this is the perfect monitor for
any video-based content."
