Viewsonic's Latest LCDs Show That Thin Is In
By Viewsonic PR
05/25/2004

WALNUT, Calif.—ViewSonic® Corp., a worldwide leader in visual display products, today added two slim bezel displays to its business LCD lineup.  The attractive design and exceptional front-of-screen performance of the 15-inch VX510 and 17-inch VX715 will appeal to any small and home office, corporate, education or government user.

Featuring an elevated neck that provides a floating effect, the VX510 and VX715 save space on the desktop and allow a high, comfortable viewing position.  Both displays are framed by black bezels and stylish silver accents that add style to even the most basic office environment. To extend the desktop experience, the VX715 features ClearMotivTM technology for displaying broadcast-quality video and compatibility with high-definition 720p.  OptiSync(tm) dual input technology on the display supports both digital (DVI) and analog (VGA) signals to expand connectivity options.

The VX715 has 1280x1024 native resolution, 450:1 contrast ratio and 300 nits of brightness, while the VX510 provides 250 nits of brightness, a 450:1 contrast ratio and 1024x768 native resolution.

"Analysts predict that by 2005, 50 percent of enterprise desktop PC purchases will include either 15-inch or 17-inch LCD monitors," said Young Bae, senior product manager, LCD monitors, ViewSonic. "With such rapid growth comes changing user needs-ViewSonic's VX models meet these  needs and deliver more room on the desktop, superior front-of-screen performance and an attractive, stylish design."
