Revolutionary Multi-Room Home Media System by Axonix
by Avonix PR
06/01/2004

MediaMax consists of a Server that stores and delivers DVD and VHS movies, automatically pre-recorded TV shows, home videos, music and photos; and a Set Top Player that provides multiple room, remote controlled access to the homeowners collection of personal media, Web content, email, chat and internet radio. Other models include a DVD videodisc player and an HDTV component video output compatible Gaming PC.

MediaMax automatically records and plays back TV shows plus delivers DVD movies in their original high quality, MPEG2 format, with full 6-channel Dolby surround sound audio. Using proprietary copy protection technology, MediaMax allows homeowners to access content within their home while deterring copyright violations.

MediaMax’s Set Top Player attaches to your home theatre TV and sound system via its S-Video or composite video and coax S/PDIF surround sound audio outputs. Plug in the Server and the Player(s), load your media onto the Server and the homeowner is ready to experience any media, on-demand from any room, any time using a simple handheld remote control.

MediaMax also supports virtually unlimited storage expansion. Attach one or more MediaStore™ Firewire appliances, each with up to 2-Terabytes, for unlimited DVD movie and other media storage. Other media interfaces include Firewire, USB, Serial, Parallel and a 6 in 1 memory card reader. A Console Utility provides simple media loading and directory management.
