At only 7.8-pounds (3.5 kg), this extremely lightweight projector has the flexibility to be mounted in your family room on the ceiling or wall, or even placed on a tabletop and then tucked into the closet when not in use. Additionally, with 50-percent more lamp life at 3,000 hours, the ScreenPlay 4805 has the longest lasting lamp on the market today and offers lowest overall cost of ownership relative to other competitive products in the market.

The ScreenPlay 4805 includes the latest technology to create a richer experience for consumers including:

  • New TI 854x480 DMD, native 16:9 with DarkChip2 contrast enhancement
  • New 6-segment color wheel for true colors rather than a 4-segment color wheel in the SP4800
  • Faroudja DCDi Plus video processing using the FLI 2310 chipset
    • Same as used in ScreenPlay 5700, ScreenPlay 7200, ScreenPlay 7205 and the ScreenPlay 777
  • Improved video brightness and contrast
    • 750 video optimized lumens
    • 2000:1 calibrated contrast ratio (calibrated at 6500K color temp)
  • DVI digital input with HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) decryption
  • Direct component input via 3 RCA connectors 3,000 hour lamp life
  • Full HD signal compatibility
  • A 12-volt screen trigger, which will automatically raise and lower an electronic screen when the projector is powered on/off
  • Home Theater remote with back light
