At a special event in New York, select members of the press were given a preview of Italian manufacturer SIM2’s newest projector, the C3X. The relatively small DLP-based projector houses a three-chip design with a 1280 by 720 pixel native resolution. The base unit is priced at $17,999, with various lens options available for around $2,000. It should be available by the time you read this.
