Home
theater installers who have been using video display manufacturer Vidikron’s
newest high-definition projector are responding with rave reviews. Vidikron, a
premier manufacturer of video projectors and plasma monitors, released the
Vision™ Model 60 in January of 2005 as part of its commitment to provide its
dealers with innovative, high-value home theater products. The Model 60 is
designed to reproduce widescreen video images with high brightness and detail at
high definition resolutions. Retailing at $12,995, the Vision Model 60 is now
shipping.

“The
Vision Model 60 is one of three latest additions to Vidikron’s expanding lineup
of video displays, which allow our dealers to give their customers phenomenal
home theater performance and value,” said Jim McGall, Vidikron’s vice president
of sales and marketing. “Since we released the Vision Model 60 in January, our
custom dealers across the country have been implementing it in their home
theater designs, and the feedback is superb. Home theater enthusiasts demand an
exciting film experience, and the Model 60 exceeds their expectations,
delivering an impressive high-definition picture and integration flexibility
that put it at the top of its class.”
“The
Vision Model 60 has made an ideal addition to our product offering, and
integrates very easily with our home theater designs. Our customers have been
thrilled with the results,” said Mark McCracken, president of ihome, a Vidikron dealer in
Seattle, Washington. “By making a projector with this
kind of power available at this price point, Vidikron has given us an affordable
way to provide each of our customers a very impressive picture at home. We’ve
seen the Model 60 produce some incredible results on a number of different
screen types, and in rooms where lighting is less-than-ideal. We’re very happy
with its power and versatility.
