Recognizing consumer desire for unobtrusive, high-performance audio equipment, KEF recently introduced its next generation of motorized, in-ceiling speakers and in-wall surround speakers. The Ci 3-80QT speakers hide like any in-ceiling speaker when not in use but automatically extend and angle toward the listening area to improve sound quality when active. These speakers can be used for any channel in a home theater system, but the Ci FDT motorized dipole speakers are made specifically as a rear channel and create a more diffuse surround soundfield when extended. Both types of speakers will be available mid-September in a soft white finish for $499 each.
