 Making Sound Sleek
 Michael Trei
 Spring 2004

Artcoustic makes nearly flat wall-mounted speakers with numerous designer-fabric covers.

Artcoustic
Imagine if instead of mounting something that looks like a speaker, you could hang a couple of framed works of art on either side of your plasma TV and still get great sound. Artcoustic makes a wide range of speakers that you can order in a huge ar ray of designer fabrics or with original artwork or artistic photography by renowned artists. You can even supply your own digital image for printing onto the company’s special acoustically transparent grille cloth. There isn’t the space here to detail all of Artcoustic’s different models, but rest assured that the company has a wide assortment of sizes and price ranges. It even has several slim wall-mounted subwoofers to allow for a completely stealth installation.
