| Mike Wood, Editor |
| Mike started his audio/video career as an audio sales “counselor” for the good guys! (lower case and exclamation point required). Quickly tiring of the daily grind of the sales floor, and not willing to threaten bodily harm if customers refused to buy the extended warranty, he seeked greener pastures in custom installation. From there he joined the Imaging Science Foundation through Joe Kane Productions, and learned as much as he could about video before pawning himself off on unsuspecting magazines (like Widescreen Review). Once seemingly stuffed with video knowledge and magazine experience, he pounced on an opportunity at Home Theater magazine and became its Technical Editor under Brent Butterworth, where he stayed (even though Brent didn’t) for five years. During that time he was named Editor of Home Theater Interiors and Home Theater Buyer’s Guide magazines. Brent, now editor of Robb Report Home Entertainment magazine, asked Mike to return to Curtco (original owner of Home Theater) to head Digital TV magazine. He’s there now. |
